YUASA BATTERY THAILAND PLC.

and Yuasa Sales and Distribution Co.,ltd. which shall be called "the Company ", have manufactured and distributed the car and motorcycle batteries, shall conduct the business operation with social responsibility to reduce the impact on various aspects arising from business operation of the Company and complying with the principles of operations that are transparency, auditing, ethics, respecting human right, focusing the demand and expectation of stakeholders.

In addition, Yuasa Battery (Thailand) Public Company Limited has developed a tracking system for internal and external environmental management ISO 14001 standard and the law, so that all relevant agencies are aware of the rules and regulations. This is a case of lost rules and practice executives and related practitioners can plan to follow the existing and emerging rules quickly.

Computer Donation

On April 28, 2023, Yuasa Battery (Thailand) PLC, led by Mr. Nattapat Pongsatirat, Assistant General Manager (Operation), and the CSR team, represented the Company to donate 3 computers to Samuprakan Public Library, 5 computers to Tai Ban Mai Non-Formal and Informal Education Center and 2 computers to Thedsaban 2 School (Tai Ban Mai) Samutprakan.

The Company places high importance in education, especially the seeking of knowledge through online media. For that reason, the Company has been operating this project to donate computers to educational institutions and education centers, offering knowledge-seeking services for students and members of the public.

On April 4, 2023, Yuasa Battery (Thailand) PLC., led by CEO Akira Kiyomizu, organized an activity aimed at providing battery care under the “Safely begin your journey: Yuasa cares” activity. The activity has been conducted for the third consecutive year.

The Company established a checkpoint to provide vehicle battery health inspections before the 2023 Songkran holiday at Lotus’s Sai Luat, Samutprakan, for the customers of the supermarket. The inspections were conducted by the Company’s specialist technicians who also provided advice and recommendations on the correct ways of battery maintenance. The activity attracted many motorists — car users, motorcyclists and tuk-tuk drivers — who paid a lot of attention to the activity and jointly received the battery inspection service.

On March 29, 2023, Yuasa Battery Thailand Public Company Limited organized a marine waste collection activity. Along the road along the beach, Bang Pu (Bang Saen 2), led by the CSR working group together with Bang Pu Municipality, collecting and sweeping garbage, cleaning along the road along the beach, Bang Pu (Bang Saen 2)

Changing Waste into Merits project

On June 1, 2023, Yuasa Battery (Thailand) PLC, led by Chief Operation Officer Sukthae Ruengwattanachot and the working team of the “Changing Waste into Merits” project, donated used plastic bottles to Wat Chak Daeng, Samutprakan.

The Company had run this project by offering used plastic bottles collected during March through June to the temple, where the bottles will be recycled into robes for monks. By the end of the project, the Company collected 200 kg of plastic bottles in total, an equivalent to 800 robes.
