In the year 2024, amidst the economic pressures notably the decline in the Thai automotive industry, high level of  household debt and geopolitical conflicts, the Company managed to generate a record sale revenue, operating profit and net profit  since its establishment, marking the tenth consecutive year of profitability. The management and all employees endeavored to  execute the planned operations to achieve the set goals efficiently. We continued the investment to enhance our manufacturing  capabilities and business infrastructures - the automated motorcycle battery assembly line was successfully installed within  schedule and the additional solar cells installation on factory roof has been completed at the wastewater treatment plant,  expanding total renewable energy production capacity to 950 kW. On the outlook, even though the economy is expected to be more  uncertain, the Company will strive to build on this performance. Our strategic focus will be on offering a comprehensive line of  quality products that effectively meet customers’ demand and further investing in automation for our facilities to enhance  operational efficiency. The Company will aim for a higher profitability and continue its cost control initiatives with the target  of becoming leading producer in the market.  
         
        Apart from the commitment to conducting a robust business, the Company places significant emphasis on sustainability. It  identifies the organization's material topics and formulates a sustainability strategy that aligns with its vision, mission, and  the concept of creating long-term sustainable value for stakeholders. The company, by each business unit, has developed  operational plans and, importantly, conducts its business with an emphasis on environmental and social responsibility and  stakeholder involvement throughout the value chain. The progress of actions is also reported periodically to the management and  the Board of Directors. 
            
        In our efforts to tackle the material issues of 2024, the primary focus was on applying technology and innovation in  business operations, reducing carbon emissions and preserving resources mainly at production and operation activities of the  value chain. Compared with the previous year, we have cut our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to production (i.e. per quantity of  lead melt) by 8 percent and reduced city water consumption by 5 percent. The implementation of new Enterprise Resource Planning  system is in process and on target to go live in the middle of this year. 

       The highest priority at YUASA is the safety of our people.  In 2024, zero lost time injury has been maintained continuously since 2019 while number of injuries per one million hours worked was reduced to 0.90 from 1.37 in the previous year. We also conducted the employee satisfaction and engagement survey for the first time and will utilize the result for further  improvement. Along with this social progress, we have policies that outlines our commitment to respect and promote human rights  in all aspects of our business operations and regularly organize activities to support in knowledge, service, and economic value  creation to the nearby communities.        
   
       To drive the achievement of our sustainability operational plans, we are keeping a close eye on our emissions levels and  developing plans for operational emissions reduction. The Company has laid out mid-term project plans for improvement of  processes and machineries on efficient use of electricity and LPG fuel which are the two main sources of GHG emission. YUASA batteries that are used with cars There are 2 types to choose from.
MF battery (Maintenance Free Battery)
  • Use lead calcium (CA / CA) and tin mixed with elements to prevent distilled water and high corrosion resistance.
  • Use sulfuric acid with a specific gravity higher than about 1.260 - 1.280. SP.GR (STD) is able to store and supply power well with high performance.
  • Fill the acid and charge with 100% complete from the factory. Use immediately. No need to add distilled water throughout the lifetime (Free Maintenance).
  • Keep the power to start the engine for a long time. Although rarely use cars
  • The barrier is a type of envelope (PE Separator) which is made of modern PE plastic with tear-resistant properties higher than glass-fiber baffles. Helps prevent dust-lead-chemical powder fall and will help preserve the structure of the sheet to last longer than ordinary batteries.
  • The closed casing has a frame arrester, using a caramic filter to help prevent the evaporation of distilled water and prevent battery explosion.

  • The MF battery will emit about 20% of its current power per 1 month and depending on the temperature conditions, if the MF battery is stored for more than 4 months, the car will start to be difficult to mount. In order for the battery to be ready, always bring the battery to fully charge before use. (Wake up before use)
Note: You can add distilled water to the MF battery when you need it once a year or if the Electrolyte solution is lower than the lower level.

Normal battery (Conventional Battery)
  • Use lead, antimony and silium to produce positive-negative plates
  • Is a dry compressed sheet which charges about 70% of the capacity when adding acid to the battery Then charge for 2-4 hours to get 100% complete power
  • Must always maintain the distilled water level (every 20 days or 3,000 kilometers per 1 time or according to usage conditions)
  • When the current is completely discharged (DOD), it will have a high IR value and will be able to charge the power more difficult than Battery MF slightly.
  • Use sulfuric acid with a specific gravity lower than about 1.240 - 1.260 (STD)
  • The shelf life is longer than Battery MF because it is a dry battery that has not yet been added. If not activated, it can be stored for up to 5 years without affecting the quality.

Terms of car battery warranty for YUASA brand
  1. Yuasa battery, all models are guaranteed for 1 year from the month that the customer bought the battery.

On 18th May 2018, our Company had a CSR project by preparing and distributing food for persons with disabilities at Karunyawet Home for Persons with Disability Protection and Development, Banglamung, Chonburi which our staffs have put an afford for this activity. So, we would like to thanks to all managers that allowed their staffs to join this activity. Even though they had a lot of works, but they could perfectly manage their staffs (real professional). How to maintain the battery in flood conditions

          The session was provided by the Company’s facilitators from the Safety Department, featuring both theoretical and practical lectures, with a workshop session demonstrating the proper usage of fire-fighting equipment and a fire drill.         On March 29, 2023, Yuasa Battery (Thailand) PLC joined forces with the Bang Pu Municipality Office to organize a volunteer project comprises of picking up litter and cleaning the roadside areas near the coast of Bang Pu (Bangsaen 2). The project is aimed at conserving the environment, which is one of the fundamental aspects of a livable society.


YUASA Battery (YBTH) provided a sponsorship to the Suek Petchyindee boxing competition held at Rajadamnern Stadium on Thursday, March 23, 2023. The Company established a checkpoint to provide vehicle battery health inspections before the 2023 Songkran holiday at Lotus’s Sai Luat, Samutprakan, for the customers of the supermarket. The inspections were conducted by the Company’s specialist technicians who also provided advice and recommendations on the correct ways of battery maintenance. The activity attracted many motorists — car users, motorcyclists and tuk-tuk drivers — who paid a lot of attention to the activity and jointly received the battery inspection service.

On April 28, 2023, Yuasa Battery (Thailand) PLC, led by Mr. Nattapat Pongsatirat, Assistant General Manager (Operation), and the CSR team, represented the Company to donate 3 computers to Samuprakan Public Library, 5 computers to Tai Ban Mai Non-Formal and Informal Education Center and 2 computers to Thedsaban 2 School (Tai Ban Mai) Samutprakan. 



The Company places high importance in education, especially the seeking of knowledge through online media. For that reason, the Company has been operating this project to donate computers to educational institutions and education centers, offering knowledge-seeking services for students and members of the public.


Mr. Akira Kiyomizu, Chairman of the Board, and Mr. Sukthae Ruangwattanachot, Chief Operating Officer of Yuasa Battery Thailand Public Company Limited,  participated in the ceremony and gave certificates to 58 youths participating in the project.

 Mr. Akira Kiyomizu said in an interview that he was delighted to see so many young people and their parents participating in this project. Throughout the training five times since last February, what a pleasure it is to see children. Everyone enjoys playing football. through training from national coaches. It is an experience that is not easy to find. From now on, Yuasa is ready to continue this project in the future.

On June 10, 2023, Yuasa Battery (Thailand), together with the B-Quik Foundation for Society, organised a project activity. "Deliver toilets and donate items to the children." At Ban Cha Muang School, Phongprasat Subdistrict, Bangsaphan District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, by delivering toilets and donating items, we repaired the school building.

       On June 1, 2023, Yuasa Battery (Thailand) PLC, led by Chief Operation Officer Sukthae Ruengwattanachot and the working team of the “Changing Waste into Merits” project, donated used plastic bottles to Wat Chak Daeng, Samutprakan.

The Company had run this project by offering used plastic bottles collected during March through June to the temple, where the bottles will be recycled into robes for monks. By the end of the project, the Company collected 200 kg of plastic bottles in total, an equivalent to 800 robes.

           On January 12, 2024, Yuasa Battery (Thailand) Public Company Limited, led by the company representatives Mr. Nattapat Phongsathirat, Assistant General Manager (Operations), and Ms. Anchayanin Butwong, Human Resources Manager, accompanied by a team, organized a Children’s Day gift-giving event in honor of National Children’s Day at Ban Sai Ngam kindergarten and Tessaban 3 school.

On April 5, 2024, Yuasa Battery (Thailand) Public Company Limited, led by Mr. Sukthae Ruengwattanachot, Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Mr. Nattapat Pongsatirat, Assistant General Manager (Operations), along with their team, organized a battery care activity under the project “Safe Start, Yuasa Cares for Your Vehicle”. This marks the second years of this continuous activity. The company set up a battery check service point before travel during the long Songkran holiday in 2024 at the Lotus Department Store, Sai Luat Branch, Samut Prakan Province.

To provide service to the general public, the company brought in a team of skilled technicians from the factory to inspect batteries and offer advice on proper battery maintenance. The event attracted a large number of car and motorcycle owners who were interested in having their batteries checked.

On June 14, 2024, our company organized a campaign of the Drug Prevention and Intervention Education Program in Educational Institutions at Samutprakarn Technological College (Ch. Tech). Ms. Patcharee Apirak, the Director of Administration (Operations Division), delivered the opening speech and presented souvenirs to Ms. Onuma Wiwattarangkul, the Director of Samutprakarn Technological College, Mr. Samart Chensareegam, the subdistrict headman of Thaiban Mai Subdistrict, Mueang District, Samutprakarn Province and Mr. Sittipakorn Junkaew (Chow), the Village Headman of Moo 5, Thaiban Mai Subdistrict, Mueang District, Samutprakarn Province.

Additionally, there was a guest speaker, Pol. Capt. Thanayot Morasri from the Mueang Samut Prakan Police Station, who gave a lecture to provide students with information about illegal drugs.

On July 24, 2024, our company organized the 2nd Relaxation Massage Project to Support and Promote Careers (for People with Disabilities) and Employee Health, in collaboration with the Foundation for the Employment Promotion of the Blind. The main objective is to support and enhance career opportunities for people with disabilities, as to promote employee wellness within the organization. This project not only helps people with disabilities to develop massage skills for future career opportunities but also fosters understanding and acceptance of diversity in society.

Moreover, relaxation massage offers benefits in reducing stress and physical fatigue, promoting better health and quality of life for employees. This project effectively integrates social support and health promotion.

                  On Friday, March 29, 2024, Yuasa Battery (Thailand) Public Company Limited, led by Ms. Anchayanin Butwong the Human Resources Manager and the CSR project team, will organize a pre-retirement career preparation program. The objective is to support employees aged 50 up in preparing for retirement by offering two main activities:

1.     Using smartphones for online marketing course   2. Managing a coffee shop for beginners course

Both activities had professional instructors provide guidance on the steps and methods for starting these careers to enable participants to apply the knowledge they have gained practically in their career.


On Friday, April 12, 2024, Yuasa Battery (Thailand) Public Company Limited has organized a Songkran festival activities. During the event, there was a traditional Thai dance by staff representatives, a ceremonial water pouring on the Buddha statues, and the "Ritual of Water Pouring on the Hands of Elders" (a gesture of respect towards senior management to seek their blessings).

This event aims to preserve the Thai culture and traditions that have been passed down through generations. The atmosphere at the event was full of fun and warmth, as if everyone were one family.

              On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, Yuasa Battery (Thailand) Public Company Limited organized a donation activity for the community. The company has donated used items such as clothing, shoes, bags, computers, and other donated items to various foundations and institutions to support society and share with those in need.

Yuasa Battery (Thailand) Public Company Limited, led by Mr. Tsunenori Yoshimura, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), organized the 2nd Yuasa Battery Knowledge and Technical Training 2024 in Rayong Province for Eastern distributors on August 25, 2024, at the Novotel Star Hotel, Rayong Province.

The event received attention from more than 30 Eastern distributors who joined the event.       On Friday, July 19, 2024, YUASA Battery (Thailand) Public Company Limited, led by Ms. Anchayanin Butwong (Human Resources Manager) and employee representatives, participated in the Buddhist Lent Day for the year 2024. They made offerings of candles, rain cloths, monk supplies, and light bulbs at Wat Hongthong in Samut Prakan Province.

     On Friday August 9 2024  YUASA Battery (Thailand) Public Company Limited led by Mr. Nattapat Phongsatirat (Assistant General Manager) and Ms. Anchayanin butwong (Human Resources Manager) along with the CSR team organized an event providing daily life essentials food and ice cream in celebration of Mother Day. The event took place at the Waiwatthana Nivas Foundation for the Elderly in Samut Prakan Province.

      During the event the team conducted activities such as games and singing sessions with the elderly residents. These activities were designed to bring joy and entertainment help alleviate physical and mental health issues and reduce the risk of depression ensuring that the elderly could enjoy their later years with happiness and fulfillment.

The event also featured a safety expert, Miss Minlada Nonthapattipagorn, Safety Manager, who provided lectures to enhance knowledge, understanding, and skills necessary for preventing accidents and injuries that may occur in daily life and workplace environments, especially for students in the automotive engineering field, which is highly susceptible to workplace accidents

The objective of this project was to ensure that students understand the principles of safe working practices and enhance their knowledge of accident prevention in the workplace, as well as improve their skills in using tools and equipment safely and correctly.

This training session served as a valuable opportunity to raise awareness about workplace safety and prepare students to enter the labor market with confidence and safety in the future.


                 YUASA Battery (Thailand) Public Company Limited has undertaken a donation project to assist those affected by the flooding disaster. We prioritize supporting and helping the community during times of crisis aiding in the recovery and rehabilitation of areas impacted by the floods. Yuasa Battery supports Thai youth to win in the 2024 Asian and National Go-Kart Competitions

Yuasa Battery (Thailand) Public Company Limited, led by Mr. Tsunenori Yoshimura, Chief Executive Officer and Ms.Phanchita Xivivadh, Executive Manager (Sales Division), donated financial support and Yuasa YT7B-BS batteries, totaling 100,000 baht, to Wachirawit Chaiprasit (Nong Nam Punch) in the 2024 Asian and National Go-Kart Competitions, where he performed exceptionally well, such as winning the championship of the IAME Series Asia 2024, Field 2, CADET Rookie category, and winning the championship of the ROK CUP THAILAND 2024, national competition, in both Fields 3 and 4.

The seminar was honored to have Mr. Chaiyachan Piboonpongphan, Quality Control Manager, as the speaker, who shared his expertise on the structure, operation, maintenance, and inspection techniques of batteries. This knowledge was intended to help students apply what they learned to both their studies and future careers.

This initiative reflects the company commitment to promoting technical education in the automotive field and developing essential skills for young people, who are the key driving force for the country future progress.

On  December 13 2024  Yuasa Battery (Thailand) Co Ltd. (Public) led by executives Mr. Mr.Sukthae   Ruengwattanachot Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Ms. Miss Phatcharee  Apirak Executive Manager (Operation) along with the project team of Turning Waste into Merit donated used plastic bottles to Wat Chak Daeng Samut Prakan Province.

The company initiated the Turning Plastic into Merit donation campaign which ran for one month from November to December 2024 by collecting used plastic bottles to be made into monk robes. At the end of the campaign a total of 11 kilograms of used plastic bottles were collected from employees, which were equivalent to 44 monk robes

 

       On December 20 2024 YUASA Battery (Thailand) Co Ltd. led by Mr. Nattapat Phongsatirat (Assistant General Manager)  along with the YUASA Green Earth project team installed solar powered streetlights (Solar Cell) at the entrance pillars on both the left and right sides of the Samut Prakan Technical College (Ch. Tech). This installation aims to reduce global warming by utilizing renewable energy as an alternative to electrical power while also enhancing safety for commuters during nighttime.

On January 15 2025 the company organized the Relaxation Massage Project to Support and Promote the Careers of People with Disabilities and Employee Health for the third time  in collaboration with the Foundation for the Employment Promotion of the Blind. The primary objective of this project is to support and enhance career opportunities for people with disabilities as well as to promote the health of employees within the organization. This project not only provides people with disabilities the chance to develop skills in massage therapy for future career opportunities but also fosters understanding and acceptance of diversity in society.

Moreover relaxation massage has benefits in reducing stress and physical fatigue promoting better health and quality of life for employees. This project effectively integrates social support and health promotion.

    On Friday February 14 2025 Yuasa Battery (Thailand) Co. Ltd. organized a fish release activity at the Army Natural Study Center Bang Pu, in collaboration with employees of Yuasa Battery (Thailand) Co. Ltd. and faculty members and students from Samut Prakan Technical College (Ch. Tech).

      In light of the current border conflict, Yuasa Battery (Thailand) Public Company Limited organized a blood donation campaign under the theme Blood from the Heart, Encouragement for the Border. This initiative aims to deliver care and support to military officers and personnel stationed along the border who are devotedly protecting the nation. The blood donation activities were held on August 6, 8, 13, 15, 21, and 29, 2025.

          The Company would like to express its sincere appreciation to all employees who participated in this blood donation. Your contributions not only support frontline soldiers but also help save the lives of patients in need of blood. This noble act is truly commendable and reflects the kindness and generosity of everyone, as well as the spirit of unity within our organization.

Yuasa Battery (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (Public) led by executives  Mr.Sukthae   Ruengwattanachot, Chief Operating Officer (COO), along with the project team of Turning Waste into Merit  donated used plastic bottles to Wat Chak Daeng Samut Prakan Province.

The company initiated the Turning Plastic into Merit donation campaign, which ran for two month, from August to September 2025, by collecting used plastic bottles to be made into monk robes. At the end of the campaign, a total of 87 kilograms of used plastic bottles were collected from employees, which were equivalent to 116 monk robes.

      On November 19, 2025, Yuasa Battery (Thailand) Public Company Limited organized a project to present knowledge on “Enhancing Workplace Safety Skills” for vocational students. The event was led by Mr.Nattapat Pongsatirat, Assistant General Manager (Operation), and Ms. Anchayanin Butwong, Human Resources Manager, along with the CSR working team.

       Before the presentation began, Mr.Nattapat Pongsatirat honored the occasion by delivering an opening speech and presenting a token of appreciation to Dr. Surin Boonsanong, Director of  Samutprakan Technical College.

       The event also featured a safety expert, Miss Minlada Nonthapattipagorn, Safety Manager, who provided lectures to enhance knowledge, understanding, and skills necessary for preventing accidents and injuries that may occur in daily life and workplace environments, especially for students in the automotive engineering field, which is highly susceptible to workplace accidents

              On November 28, 2025, YUASA Battery (Thailand) Co., Ltd. led by Mr. Nattapat Phongsatirat (Assistant General Manager)  along with the YUASA Green Earth project team installed solar powered streetlights (Solar Cell) at the bridge crossing the canal at the entrance of the Sainngam Village and at the waiting area in front of the village. The objectives are to help reduce global warming by using renewable energy as a substitute for electricity, and to enhance safety for commuters during nighttime
