On August 28, 2026, Yuasa Battery (Thailand) Public Company Limited organized a Pre-Retirement Career Training Program to support employees in developing new skills and preparing for life after retirement.
The program was attended by employees aged 51–60, along with community representatives, at the Training Room on the 3rd Floor. The opening session was led by Ms. Sriruean Sripattanakul Hanbang, Assistant General Manager – Corporate Strategy, who officially opened the program.
Developing Career Skills for Life After Retirement
Participants gained practical knowledge and hands-on experience from experienced instructors through a range of career training activities, including:
- Dishwashing liquid production
- Salad roll preparation
- Steamed bun and mantou making
The training focused on practical skills that participants can apply in their daily lives and potentially develop into supplementary careers or income-generating opportunities after retirement.
Supporting Employee Well-being Through Internal CSR
The Pre-Retirement Career Training Program is part of Yuasa Battery Thailand’s Internal CSR initiatives, which focus on supporting employee development, well-being, and long-term quality of life.
Yuasa believes that preparing for retirement should begin before retirement itself. Developing new skills and exploring potential sources of supplementary income can help employees build confidence, plan for the future, and transition into post-retirement life more effectively.
The participation of community representatives also provided an opportunity to share knowledge beyond the workplace and strengthen the relationship between Yuasa and the surrounding community.
Through initiatives like this, Yuasa Battery Thailand continues to support its people and communities while promoting sustainable growth together.
